be more discerning with the the 1 IP per account
i don't know how many people I have NOT told about KOC or told they CAN'T play. I'm at college right now and every there is probably 1 independent IP address for every 2 or 3 buildings. So basically, I can't tell anyone in the dorms about KOC. As a matter of fact, I stopped one kid from making an account cause YOU GUYS never responded to my msgs about my situation. Until something changes, Active Players: Total 15,939 100%
That number will keep dropping. I could have easily recruited well over 30 people right now, but how is it possible if it'll get every IP i've used blacklisted??

plz no anonymous votes! login and help make this one of the top request! Yah, some people are going to make multis blah blah blah... but rly, I don't care. If they want to split time between TWO or more accounts, by all means, it's their life.

yea, I agree. There's way to much unjust banning IMO. It's nearly impossible to let a familymember or other people from school/work sign up, cuz it immediatly put you on the "blacklist". There's truly no way how an admin can find out who logs in to what account, unless they have cameras in all our houses.

Honestly this may be the sole reason why i dont comeback/leave koc, all of my friends in the koc are being banned, and in most cases, when an email is sent to the admins they dont even respond!? Just look at the KK, ubergold, etc. Are u serious?

Good idea, what is the problem if we have 2 accounts, thats alot more players. Now some people get banned for "multi"
I hope the admins agree with this.

Exactly, thats what I hate the most about this game -.- I got banned for this in age 8, so then, I have 2 computers, when I logg on, the ip's show up different but I guess thats spose to.. I share the two computers with family, so Admins should sort this out, I understand why this is annoying, good you thought of this idea, I was gonna think off this idea, but good you posted it :), 3 points.

Yep, same reason i'm not coming back. You guys have gone ban crazy and fail to respond to us when we bring it up. We had 18 people at a factory of 800 employees play at work and you banned every last one of us for checking our account at work. You keep banning people and their friends and noone wants to play. Hence having 22,000 members drop to rougly 15,000. You lost 7k people in a month

I think they should create a fee based system, that would cut down on multiple accounts and eliminate the IP banning system. Sure, someone could pay to have multiple accounts, but at that point, I say let them. They've paid for it. I'd be willing to pay $3 per month. Of course, as a paying member, I don't want advertisements. :)

I think it's a great idea, I LOST my account because my roommate wanted to play, on his OWN computer, in a DIFFERENT room. We get accused of cheating and banned, we tried to explain our case but, as expected, no one was listening.
KoC has been dropping in fun and player steadly, with rules like this in place the decline WILL continue.

You could use a proxy to set up multiple accounts, anyway.

I agree, it's rather harsh one player per IP address. I got a buddy who got banned in age six for multiplaying, but he wasn't multiplaying. His buddy came over to hang out and at one point he hopped on KOC to dump gold, and he asked if he could. Why not? Next day, oh, that's why. Well, neither of those two play KOC anymore, do you relize how much of a player base is left comparitively?

Have suggested this on GUA etc before but will state it again. Why not have it to where if more than one player per IP then you have to email/fax your ID showing that you, spouse, kid etc have same address? For kids it could be any paperwork showing YOU as parent. Same for college students, send student ID's Would mean work for admins but they could give mods a email to check those things too.

PS: I was lucky enough to let admins know (back when they responded) that i played koc as well as my fiance & kids (boys are erractic about playing though lol)
so here is someone allready given approval for having family on same IP and to make it fair would be more than willing to take the time & send in our info. More players = better game!

I would like to reitterate what Keebler said. After all the time and effort I put into building up my account to be hosed for no just reason is a huge waste of time. I am doubting that I will be back for Age 10. I can find plenty of other sites on which to spend my free time.

I completely agree. Keebler and Mad_Vlad both work in my office and we got all our accounts banned. I have "appealed" the decision, but I think that is just a phony webpage to pacify people who got tanked. I play ONE account and get banned for cheating because someone else in the same building also plays. LAME. LAME TO THE EXTREME. Besides. . . I was just about to dominate Chaos. lol

Keebler, Mad_Vlad, Rage_Master, and several others all work in the same office I do and banning our accounts was very unjust. As your logs would easily show, several of us were online at the SAME TIME. If we were just one person with several accounts we would not be able to do this. I feel it is very unfair of you to bann all of our accounts and wish for them to be reinstated. Thank you!

Seriously why punish those who are honest players be banning an honest account.
They are right on the money here and there appears to be total blind ignorance on the part of the KOC admins. They ignore this flaw and choose to stick their head in the sand.

excellent idea. even though i haven't been banned before, i know exactly what you guys are saying - there are many situations where different people will use the same IP, and as OP said, splitting time between multiple accounts ain't exactly the greatest thing to do. pamdora, if they're really desperate ppl who want multiple accounts can fake things like ID...

First of all I would just like to say I respect the admins in their attempt to make they game more cheat-proof. This system probably worked in the past, when nobody knew about it. Surely quite a few cheaters got banned. However now the cheaters have surely countered it (not difficult to do) and now the majority of people being banned are honest new players sharing IPs. This is very disappointing.
