Don't show when someone is online.

By now most people in the top 500 have caught on to using autorefresher as anyone can see by the cascade of yellow lights in the top pages. Pretending to be online gives them a big advantage because others are hesitant to attack them.

I agree with dave on this, but the part that I would like about not being able to see if ppl are online or not is the chaos, the part I wouldn't like is I rather enjoy getting whiney messages from ppl about online hits, it creates a fun convo.

I took a break from KoC once, and when I came back, I found that there was this house rule among tons of people that online attacking is suddenly bad form. What?! I've learned to make purchases or upgrades very quickly so as to keep people from getting that money. If someone is fast enough to attack me in that time, good for them. I don't think that should be wrong. It's just part of the game.

I think showing the online status has its advantages. I would like to keep it. However, if it went away that would bring more chaos, but strategically, it offers some good possibilities.

get rid of it. im tired of seeing "no online attacks or else...". its tiring and annoying. attacking online or off is part of the game... the people that bitch and complain about being attacked online are usually the ones that attack online anyways. tired of hearing bitching and complaining....this way u wouldnt know if they were online or not.

Leave the online status. Makes the game more strategic. Do I want to attack this person or not? Will I get sabbed because of it? Is Keneva offline (or any top acct)...let's go mass....etc....With the online status people planning their war strategies change drastically. Keep it around.

I like it. Why? Well..for one, it would get rid of all those stupid AA's that state no online attacks. Secondly.....WOW! People with HUGE TFFs might actually (gasp!), have to buy DA! Rather than have sab threats in their AA!

I don't like this idea. I like when (Age 7) you looked if the guy was online or not to do a mass sab...or a mass attack..and seing his ranking dropping.

i think its an ok idea but seeing people on line alows you to watch for sell offs but if they did get rid of having them show up as yellow would help keep you sells :P but in the end they just need to get rid of those AA's

Keep it how it is. The removal of online status will not get rid of sabs from people who were hit online. Hit someone who is online regardless of whether or not you can tell they are, and expect to be sabotaged. It's just nice to see when browsing through the pages, because if all you want to do is check for potential hits lying around and avoid conflict, it helps.

removing this is a good idea.
online status causes unnecessary drama and its not true for most people that online players have less gold. most of the people i see with a lot of gold are online. its only really the case that it gets less at the higher end of the spectrum and then a lot of those use autorefreshers to look online and hold lots of gold too... so generall yea, good idea to remove this

Bad idea, The online/offline thing helps when attacking, If someone is online, You can have a fair idea at that the person dont have to much gold, Also, it makes it easy when sending messages as you know you can exspect a reply pretty soon.
