Point is, there wouldn't be any way to prove un-biased moderation.

Don't show player names to the In game mods. Kinda simple huh?

Yeap, same thing as you keebler. I had played back in the old days, around when the game had first came out and then slowly drifted away from it. I got reintroduced to Age 9 and while at work everyone else seemed to enjoy it and started playing from their own personal computers. Since it all came from one main ip address, something like 15 accounts were banned. Talk about admins not thinking.

Man alive I can't agree more. I loved joining an amazing game this AGE. I had never heard of KOC and after the first day I was hooked. Then 10 people in my office got turned on to it....
Then after weeks of buidling my character Keebler...it was black listed for a bogus multiple account vio.

yup same here. Also been thru it. I went to some college in South Africa. Yeah i live in South Afrika. i go home almost every weekend. At the beginning checking my account at college was fine but later on i got banned for also having multiple accounts. Sended a message and everything to the admins but got no reply even now. My account from mor ethat 1 year ago!!!!!, still active. Can't delete it.

I play KoC from college(LAN) and from my home. When I login from the computer centre there may be others who could login their own accounts. I got banned for creating multiple accounts(may be because many people logged in from the same IP address) and now I am stranded with no answer from the admins. There has to be a better way of recognizing multiple accounts rather than just checking the IPs.

I don't even know why I am being suspended due to "Create Multiple User".
But I only have one account using the only one email.
Is I login few times without logout consider "Multiple User"?
I had fill in the appeal form, and yet, don't know when only can get the reply from Admin....
My account is gone.... Just like this?

I agree, there should be a more expeditious process for being heard. I vote "no" for allowing players to be mods. Can you imagine if ES were mods? Every PR player would be banned. :) Point is, there wouldn't be any way to prove un-biased moderation.

I'm not positive on this, but personally if you are banned or suspended, there is probably a reason for it...but yes, I do feel there should be a way to log into your account and fight the ban and suspension. I got banned from GUA several times, and never knew why, and had no recourses until the ban wa lifted. A person should be able to log into a banned account for direct communications only!

ya i agree with this cuz somehtign happened to my account and tried to get a hold of couple admins messaged them via irc/e-mails never heard a word bak and had to start my account over again

I agree that the game needs moderators, as long as it doesn't give them an advantage in the game. However, there needs to be a way to decide who gets to be a moderator.

but it isnt being heard quickly
i have had people tell me the day the did it and never get a reply
even telling people *no* for such and such reason is better then not hearing anything at all
if they are to busy, put someone in charge of this sytem then so they can do the other stuff such as a moderator, this way people get read and heard

This is already implemented, when the banned/suspended user logs in they have an appeal form.
