An upgradable 'leader' unit to take your troops into battle.

At the moment your army wanders into battle as some sort of democracy. They should be lead by one individual. They could be chosen from certain classes for minor bonuses, and earn respect (and thus bonuses) if you win battles and lose it if they fail. This would encourage people to recon before attacking because it may lose them a rank of a bonus. It would also add another dimension to the gameplay, which I think the game is due.

I love this idea. So long as leaders don't become a dependancy. Having your heroes death as a detterant for an attack would ruin the game. Maby instead of a leader, some sort of general, you are supposed to be the leader after all...

This idea sounds like the introduction of "heroes" into your army, or captains to say the least. Sounds like fun, have a hero with for example special abilities (or bonuses to the army (such as +% attack or +% gold stolen, maybe % less casualties) whatever works)

This sounds really cool, I am all for it!

I think if we had a 'war mode' this concept is great. You can combine your entire set of officers stats with what you have (immediate officers only). Of course if you attack in war mode, then the targets will automatically go into war mode defense or something, and combine their officers stats etc. (damage goes to all involved,)

An interesting idea. I like the sound of it, but it would depend on the execution.
