If we went to unlimited clicking I wouldn't mind rewarding the person who provides a recruiter to allow me to click "my link' or my "lis of links' and have them insert their own link once every 100 links I clicked. It would benefit them, and allow me to do my thing. Other than unlimited clicking..I would like to see an official KoC recruiter that was not alliance based!
mike, i like to know how long it's been since my officers logged in. That is a nice tool, and would not like to use it. I think they can show an online status with color, and still show us the last login information.
Now that this is planned, this will bring more challenges from the mathematically inept players. I guess, I am now l00king forward to another way of lazily playing this game. Oh wait..there's still strategy....or will that be auto filled too?
Thanks Yo mama. I think using the pyramid type clicking it will help those with really slow connections or terrible PCs. And once you reach 500 clicks you get a 1:1 ratio will still benefit those who have plenty of time on their hands who wish to click. I am all for benefiting those who can't do well financially, but reward those who take the time.
I agree with DarkMonk. But I don't agree the sab ratio's need to be raised. I say if somoene is holding one item, it should be able to be sabbed by somoene with the right spy power. A minimum of one item should be able to be sabbed until the current ratio is met. Yes, there should be n00b protection, but I say if you are getting sabbed you deserve it or u need to find a new commander!
If clicking didn't use so much in PC resources, and if UP's were a bit more reasonable (and a higher amount) then we wouldn't need to transfer solders.

Another Idea is that the KoC admins can place 100 points of bonus's in 3 area's of each race, and give each user another 100 points of bonus's to use as they wish but limit each area to a maximum of 34% raise from default levels or a min of 10% for those the users choose to add too. So thus you will have a MAX, a default, and a Min level u can do. Example in next post
I like this idea. Let each soldier have something on their head, both hands, their feet, chest, legs, and utility belt items, and give them something to get around with. Make each one by themselves worth a certain amount, but when fully dressed they become 'super soldiers' which have twice the stats of combined equipment. (or super spy, super sentry, etc)
I agree, sentry is our safe point on keeping our information as private as we can. I think someone might be able to find information if they have 10% spy to sentry ratio, and can damage things if they have 50% spy to sentry ratio. I also don't think Gold should be the stat that shows up automatically on a successful spy turn. Make that information random, just like the other results.
I would like the First UPS offered to players very affordable. I would like to see the UP's offered per turn, instead of each day. And I would like to see UPS travel upstream like clicking does. The more productive UPS should be more expensive than the beginning UPS though.
maybe one turn in an age, as long as that turn isn't allowed within 48 hours of the end of the age. Any more than that, there will be too much abuse. Part of having a fun game, is catching someone in the act of upgrading, or doing a sell.
I think a nice modification would be that if your spy is at the appropriate ratio to see the targets gold then you would get what you normally do. If not, then you would need to have a successful spy report showing the gold within 1 minute of your attack. Other wise the best you can get from the attack is 50% of that targets gold.
I agree, it would be nice, for a commander to at least be able to take his officers into battle for a mass attack against a target. Every officer, including the commander would have damages, and soldier loss, but also split the gold gained. Each player can have a check box to "not participate in mass attacks' if they wish. The commander's attack log should then show the results of the battle.
This was one of my biggest gripes when I first started..but I guess after so many ages / years playing the game, I am kinda immune to it. Over all good idea.
I personally like this idea. At this point any percentage would work. Commanders still spend time with officers who can not click, I think commanders should benefit from this. This would also encourage more growth, more gold, thus more attacks and spending. (Which it seems like there are ads on each of these pages too :-) )
Strangly enough, I have noticed lately, my repair costs seems to be effected by the strength comparison. The only difference is when the strengths are about the same, sometimes the repair cost is really low, or really high.
Good_dog-AL2 you bring up a good point. Make it so someone requests to have access, and allow one of the admin of the alliance either allow or deny the request. Likewise, we should be able to kick people out.
I wonder if we could generate a pyramid type clicking. The first 100 clicks would get u 5 soldiers, the next would get you 4 etc, until after 500 clicks in 24 hours you would get only one solder. Go unlimited clicking. This would help boost all armies to have good gold, and allow those who really click hard to keep benefiting.
I agree with Feril. It's not just the cost of the repairs (Which are higher this age), it the fact that so many attack turns are generated. If I would have known about the specific changes, and the costs before the age started, I would have changed my playing style accordingly. Now I'm committed, and have changed what I can..LOL
Feril you pretty much say what our alliance has stated. Don't allow sabs until the successful ones are used. We like the idea of having 10 sab turns against a person TOTAL. However I differ on this. I would like to see sab turns back, and equal to attack turns, and u can use them how you like. Failed sabs do count as a sab turn. Oh ya make a min sab too. This will prevent "sab proof"
I know this is planned, and I hope the admins have a way to take care of any possible ways to cheat. Most of us don't like CAPTCHA, but most of us dont wanna get our butt's whipped by someone taking advantage of this either. I would rather have captcha than to feel every one above me in the battlefield may have cheated.
In our alliance so far we feel as a group 3 changes is fair, unless you are kicked by your commander, then you get up to two more opportunities. We also feel Changing commanders because your commander's account has gone idle should not count against you.
To make it so I am clear on my own thoughts. I think we should earn 12 attacks a day. Now we can bank those, and then use them any way we wish. However in fairness to those who work hard, versus someone who doesn't. I think the SA should be closer to the DA before you get defended vs. retreated. Having someone working 1 hour a day taking down a player working 20 hours a day is not good.
I miss read this, and yes, I agree, if commanders could see their officers stats without KoC mail, forum postings, spying ect that would be great. Let us help our officers by allowing to see our first level officer's stats with a simple click.

And guess what...the price to repair your weapons would still be higher than what you manage to steal. (if they adjusted all the gold amounts accordingly) KoC was built on 30 minute gold turns....I would leave it at that..there are other games that have more gold turns...u can play them instead of KoC.
That would make this game easier for many people. This would come at the advantage at the end of an age when people strategically plan to do this, or just have poor planning, or those who happen to get a nice sell off. Personally, I don't wanns see this happen. If it happens I would like to see very high price for this option.
With the attack turns we have now, it's hard to find enough targets (without farming) to hit for at least enough gold to repair weapons. I am for less attack turns, but they need to be balanced out with spy turns and especially sab turns.
That is backwards from what I said. Allow more clicking and make UP more affordable at lower levels! Get TFF's up and get the gold income coming in...that will make for mor chaos. More attacking for higher gold...instead of what we have now (after attack turns gt adjusted) it sucks getting blind attacked for one turn of gold. Allow larger TFF's by clicking and having higher UPS!
Lieli, that's not a bad idea to add a line to your intel report stating u attacked that tartget xxx hours ago, when u click the red eye (and the intel report is consolodated)
I personally don't farm, and would like to see that warning...but it also will add chaos to the game, because we know the option is available, and people can take actions accordingly without having "oops didn't mean too"
I personally think we should have sab turns. And one turn is used per sab attempt..and all ur spies go in at one time just like battle. Whether u successfuly sab or not, your spies die..and your tools get damaged. LIkewise the target loses sentries, and has tool damage. IF you have the turns u can use what u want when u want..make it comparable to attack turns tho! Make ratio more real tho!
shiningcoal...I like the fact u have two jobs. Many of the KoC players sacrifice many things to play this game, and choose to either play KoC or have a life. There are others with just no life, and only time to play. Banking is provided already as AxEheaD15 stated. IF there were banking, then the limited time u had to play would suck, cause there would be no gold for u!! NO BANKS!
I agree with you Lieli. Any one who can't click because of their PC, their connectin, their OS, their parents..LOL are at a disadvantage. Let their be more UPS, which the commander also benefits from. As far as clicking goes...this is part of KoC and should nt be removed. If someone can't do a good account from clicking / ups then they should find a different game that allows them to enjoy it.
I think if an alliance has it's own recruiter, then there should be some reward for it. But as stated before I believe something should be made so that all have to use without having to build another alliance up..so thus I am for an Official koC recruiter. If we go unlimited clicks, it would be easy for KoC admin to come up with a basic recruiter to submit what links u wanna click.
I think sabbable sentry is a MUST. If not..then why not just bank sentry tools all age? Sure the spy formula needs adjusted a tad bit, but lets not make the players who focus on one stat to become immune to something. I say if we sab, we sab it all. Other wise just get rid of sabbing all together.
Santino_Corleone...I agree. ANY ONE WHO PUTS IN A TWO WEEK EFFORT, or better yet ANY ONE WHO CREATES A FAKE ACCOUNT can bring down a top player who spent months (with current rules). I still think u can attack a target if you have the attack turns..but still less attack turns earned will be nice. The rest of the theory is covered in another topic.
Feril, without clicking there is not going to much gold. I am for a combination of unlimited clicking and unlimited UPS. I would like to see commanders benefit from both. (No worries GD) With unlimited clicking I can help out my officers who can not click, much better than I can with a balance transer. If someone has the time, let them click.
Personally, I hate this idea. Granted, I dislike having to enter captcha every single time, but it's so easy to make automated scripts without captcha. If you get rid of captcha except for once in a while, at least make it so that once you get it, you have to enter a captcha before getting a non-captcha page. Otherwise a simple refresh would allow the cheaters to cheat still.
guilty before innocent? I dislike cheaters as much as the next guy...but I'm not sure all cheaters are actually cheating at this point. Until I feel more comfortable with how the catch cheaters, I am all for letting them plead their case.
UP can be done per turn. The other stuff, really can be dealth with either on a per turn basis (which it is) or a 24 hour period. The time scale don't matter to me, but a per turn basis would be more beneficial to many other players.
I am all for less attack turns, kind of. I think that if you attack somene your spy should be able to see their gold. If you can't see their gold, then you need to spy. If you just attack because you think you have gold, then if possible you should win the battle, but you should not get all their gold! 50% at best. Don't reward blind hits with gold.
I agree, you have already made an attempt, and chances are your next attempt will be the same, with litle modifications. Let the last failed page come up the same as it was on the last attempt, and let the user change things from there if needed.
I think if the ads were removed from the unique ID pages it would allow for more clicking. This in turn would be more spending, attacking etc. Ad's on the recruit pages actually hurts the game more than it helps it. Get the speed back for clicking, and get your rewards later when people spend their gold, or attack for gold, or train their armies. Let us grow..collect your money later.
The attack turns they way they are set up now are used for the 'meat' of the game. High end and low end players are not effected by the attack turns as much as the 'meat of the players' is. However, I guess this only brings Chaos. I would like to see less attack turns if it comes with the proportional sab turns.
This is a sweet idea!! Hhowever you gotta remember that we still have cheaters no matter what the KoC admins try to do...so there needs to be some minimum's set

I have no votes left, but this idea would have consumed some of my voting power. To do this simply have one spy report per target, and change the day / time stamp of the newest results.
Interesting concept but would need other tweeks to make it work. For example for training you can only train 25% of your soldiers into any ONE category. You would also need to implement this with spies. Of course once you did this with spies, you should allow for spie deaths also. This is a very comlex idea if moved foward and can't be answered in one post here :-)
IE is the only browser that I know of that takes you back, and puts you back where you were in the attack page. The others move you to the top of the last page you were at. Just use the back button like Dissenter said.
Gem-, the back button has a pull down arrow, in which you simply pull down thru the battlefield. It's not that hard.
I don't think there should be a limit on how many times a day you can attack a target. If you have the turns you should be able to attack whoever / whenever. In fact, I think you should have spy turns; attack turns; sab turns! When those are used up you are done. But you should be able to use them as u see fit.
I think if a race of thief was to replace the race of Undead and have this option, it would bring in many more options. Make the amount you can steal similar to the amount you can sab, but have lower stats to make up for this, or more casualties.
I play by phone alot of times and it can be a pain logging in. (I do this driving alot..LMAO) So yes, I would like to see this somehow filled in and there might be a way I don't know about). For windows users firefox users, and linix users, there is already that option.
I think there are too many price ranges already. In fact, I say after a week of playing there is no need for the low price stuff....I would like to get rid of it. For those who use them for banking, or have no thought process to buy more expensive stuff, maybe you should be playing Thomas The Train games. I say get rid of some of the cheaper items, and allow for more gold on the battle field!
Don't limit clickers, and raise UPS...benefit commanders in both cases.
I don't have the ability or the speed to beat those who have the time and the resources to click endlessly. However I feel that if someone can click, and will click to raise their army size up they should be able to do this. If you can't click, there are other ways to get your gold :-)
Sorry Keneva, I know you don't know me, and I have to say I agree with you. I do agree that "retreated attacks" should be better than they already are. Maybe having someone with 1:5 attack:defense ratio should retreat. To have some n00b attack you from a fake account that can't be caught, is annoying, and this should help.
If you have the attacks saved up, you should be able to use them where you want. I don't like the limits of attackng xxxxx so many times a day. Yes, I've been burned, and will probably be burned again with this...but I still feel that if you have attack turns, you should be able to use them as you please. (I think retreated turns should count as a turn)
I personally don't use this channel, because it's basically useless, unless i wanna just gab..I have my own channel to do this. However, this is a channel made for Kings Of Chaos...and it should be able to be used to discuss the game in whatever manner the user wants it to be. I don't mind a general channel...just one more thing to monitor LOL

No offense, I will accept whatever it takes to have the most protection from cheats!! I play hard, and don't want someone to write a script to have an advantage!! I want to know that if somone beats me, they did it because they sat at their computer more than I have, and they had a better strategy. I vote for CHEAT PROTECTION!
Yes, I agree, stop the handoffs. If somene quits they can simply sell off their account and delete it and have their chain move up. ONE PLAYER ONE ACCOUT. ONE ACCOUNT ONE PLAYER. I mean geesh, every person has different playing styles, and just becuase someone has benefited ffrom their hard work, don't mean they should be able to pass it on. No More Handoffs!!!
With the smallers UPS yes, make them affordable so that new players can start the game, and have some gold somehow. I personally would like unlimited UPS and the cost grows exponentially. But with this we need to have an end of age knowledge. UPs are necessary, and to be redundant, I think Commanders should benefit from UPS.
1/2 hour is plenty, there are other games that earn it quicker, but KoC is pretty much 1/2 hour. Nice thing to have, and I would hate to see it changed.
I'm not positive on this, but personally if you are banned or suspended, there is probably a reason for it...but yes, I do feel there should be a way to log into your account and fight the ban and suspension. I got banned from GUA several times, and never knew why, and had no recourses until the ban wa lifted. A person should be able to log into a banned account for direct communications only!
I think if you have the attack turns / spy turns/ sab turns, you shold be able to use them as you see fit. I won't stop robbing the same 7/11 just because I've robbed it before! I will stop robbing the same 7/11 if they make it so that I have no desire to rob it.

I dont like this idea...and Chemikills said it. This plays havic on the sab rules. Altho, if the price of the weapon versus the strength of the weapon were offset, then this might be an adventagious idea.
I don't think this is a KoC thing. The game I am trying to develop does have somewhat of a map included..but I don't think this is a KoC type resolution....altho if it did happen..it would be fun..but then more requests would be made LOL
nah..there's gotta be some manual labor in the game. Some people give up after the first failed attempt for whatever reason they quit....I think this should be done without automation. However, I do think that instead of having 100's of spy reports on someone, that each time you spy, the new stats get updated wth a time stamp of last update. That way only one report is saved.
Here's a new idea...if you are "online" your DA and Sentry stats increase by 25% Because in all reality you are online and prepared....the offline stats will remain 'normal' because you could be sleeping, eating, celebrating etc..and not be expecting any thing. The stats don't need to show up when online...just effective when someone spies, sabs, or attacks you.
I think if your SA is larger than someones DA then you should be able to take their gold!!!! You may have a lot of casualties (many many many many more), but you can get the gold. I don't think the amount of gold you take should be determined on TFF but on whether you succeed (make the random effect from that point) Casualtis on the other hand is different. Few soldiers can kill many soldiers!
I believe its a combination of the above thoughts. We have too little gold income, and to many attack turns..LOL Go figure...and gues what there is chaos!! LOL I propose more clcking, higher UPS, and less attack turns. But this is just a bit of what can be covered in this post. Other posts have been made separating each idea. BTW..yes it sucks getting attacked for 3M gold instead of 200M!
Having the alliance page in KoC is a nice addition, and for it's first age has served its function. But the owners do need to have a bit more control. Like making other "leaders" who can do admin functions, kick people who don't belong. Even post a message that dont scroll off the page, that the allaince can see, but surfers cant....just a beginning of this thought.
eeey...maybe as a secondary game..not as a primary game. Let KoC move forward...either it succeeds or it doesn't. For those who have time to play two games and want to reminisce that's fine...do it as a secondary. I figure those who want what was, finally figured a way to do well. It's time to figure out how to do well with what is.
Why go backwards? As a player who would benefit from "OLD RULES", I say keep KoC moving forwards. I think a new twist every age is exciting and keeps me around. When you say "old rules" you say alot. Let KoC evolve, and grow. There will be ages that have sucky things,...but over all there are improvements. Adapt to changes, and you will be ok. It's harder, but it keeps things fresh.
Actually, MCM-neverdies had a great program that I think should be incorporated into the game. It would be nice to have this system where u could track your chain, or just track certain individules. However, This is probably a bit more than the KoC game is made to do, and there are ways to do it. I think inclusion of this could benefit commanders, and bring in more chaos...but how? LOL
I actually don't want to go back. They are bringing chaos into the game. Yes, the chaos can be quite painful, but some of the stuff the admins have done, I like. It benefits smaller players, and will knock down larger players who are not ready. However, there are still loopholes that need tweeked to prevent players who create an account just for chaos, then delete it. just tweek the new game.
Not sure there is a need for auto fill. However, some games do post the "maximum" you can buy with the gold you have, but don't fill it in. This may not be a bad idea to do. I am not really for either. If you can't figure out what to buy, then maybe you can't figure a strategy. Calculators are cheap, and there is one located for free in windows...that's a good start.
If your name is on the battlefield you are open to getting attacked, sabbed, spied etc. If this were changed, then I would never click, woudlnt buy UPs, and only attack for gold......or I would click forever, and just stay awake and online for 24 hours straight and do whatever I pleased, then spend my gold. Not a good idea in my opinion.
I think the problem here is determining "what is a smaller account" Maybe instead make it so that a minimum of 1 item can be sabbed (if you are successful). Make the sab ratio of .5 spy needed to successfully sab. Get rid of the ability to sab stuff already sabbed. My spies should be smarter than that..that's why I trained them.
Yes, you will be safe from sabs. But if you at war, then the stronger players can sab you down to a lower level, where more members can sab you. I agree it's painful when this happens, but I feel this option should stay availalbe as a possible recourse of actions. If Sentry was not sabbable, then that would be just another area strong players could focus on, or bank with.
I would also like to add, that I've made comments that UPS help commanders growth too. I think a commanders growth is important, and if he has an officer who can not click, but will dedicate his UPS to help his commander this should be included. Those players who can't click: Land Line : Crappy PC's : Some Mac users: Parental Software issues: I think UPS should go up chain too.
Darn, I just tried creating the idea that we get a bonus from the UPS. There are many officers who can not click, and their commander does a lot of work for them. I think they should benefit from their officers UPS. I would be happy with a 2:1, but think even a 10:1 would be acceptable at this point. I didn't realize you had to have votes left to create an idea, so I can't create it.
caprox I like that idea!. However, let clicking count a bit more than that. At first it probably won't matter, but if the UPs are raised to 5K a day then it can hurt. I say for every five clicks you do ONE UP dissapears. This should not count when others click your link, or you grow from officers being clicked by you or somoene else. If UPS become turn base, the I say scrap this idea.
An official recruiter would be nice, because it would bring every one on the same level playing field of what is offered, without giving one person the benefit of helping themsevles via their own recruiter. However, I will state, that having alliances have their own recruiter if they develop one is not something I am against. I would be happier if we had an official recruiter.
I think if we had a 'war mode' this concept is great. You can combine your entire set of officers stats with what you have (immediate officers only). Of course if you attack in war mode, then the targets will automatically go into war mode defense or something, and combine their officers stats etc. (damage goes to all involved,)
as viv said, it would be nice to see older posts, but I would like to add, that would like to ban players from the alliance link. The concept is pretty good and allows players who don't like forums to participate, but is weakly protected against spies. I also propse that the owner can assign some admins that have similiar abilities to the owner.
I agree, there is no reason to lose tools on sab / spy attempts (which I know it's on sab attempts only now). However, maybe spying could cause a small amount of damage, and sabbing could cause a bit more damage. I mean the tools are getting used, so give them a bit of damage. The same thing should happen on the target, whether a successful spy / sab or an unsuccessful one was completed.
I agree, if we see they are online from the battle page, we should be able to see this same stat from the attack pages, spy pages, and battle report pages. This should be common knowledge on all pages, if it's offered on the battle pages.
I think stealing would be great if the undead was replaced with Theif. Make it so the theif steals insteads of sabbing. That is probably not possible with the type of coding made for this game....but still a thought LOL.
I think five is a fair value for this. It allows for rewards, making new alliances, and players finding a way to replace crappy commanders. Any more than this gets abused.
I think showing the online status has its advantages. I would like to keep it. However, if it went away that would bring more chaos, but strategically, it offers some good possibilities.
I agree, there should be some timeline when the age will end. Whether, it is an exact time, or an approximate time (plus or minus a couple weeks). Either way there should be some expectations. Even if it was posted that ALL ages from now on will last between 5-7 Months, that would be an example of what we can prepare for. Nothing has to be definate, just a good approximation.
I dissagree, I thnk sabbing tools has it's advantages. However, if other parts of the game are tweeked, it will bring the sabbing of tools more into line. I think any thing sabbed, should be removed from armory immediatly, from all 4 categories. This will even the odds, and remove some "untouchables", and will bring on new strategies.
I'm sorry, but if some one chooses not to get officers, or join an alliance, that is their choice. For those who choose to do this, they should benefit from it. If not we would have mainly solo players. Alliances are what make KoC. I do feel 1:2 clickback ratio for commander is acceptable. I also feel that commanders should get 1:2 of the UPS. If you choose to play solo, fine...work harder.
I agree, 12 attacks a day is plenty. I also think 96 spy attempts is plenty (and have sentry actually protect u from spying). I think 24 sab attempts a day are plenty. Just bring the success ratios a bit more into reality, but keep some randomness. I feel if you save up your turns, you can use them any way you wish! No limits against any particular target. Bank unlimited turns
I believe UP is a necessary evil. We have many players who are on land line, or just have crappy PC's, or just dont want to click. I think buying UPS should remain an option. I also belive UPS should come at every turn, and not just once a day. So when u buy ups you buy 1 soldier a turn, 2 soldiers a turn etc. Keep them affordable. Make a max of 75 soldiers per turn.

Thanks Yo mama. I think using the pyramid type clicking it will help those with really slow connections or terrible PCs. And once you reach 500 clicks you get a 1:1 ratio will still benefit those who have plenty of time on their hands who wish to click. I am all for benefiting those who can't do well financially, but reward those who take the time.

I agree with DarkMonk. But I don't agree the sab ratio's need to be raised. I say if somoene is holding one item, it should be able to be sabbed by somoene with the right spy power. A minimum of one item should be able to be sabbed until the current ratio is met. Yes, there should be n00b protection, but I say if you are getting sabbed you deserve it or u need to find a new commander!

Another Idea is that the KoC admins can place 100 points of bonus's in 3 area's of each race, and give each user another 100 points of bonus's to use as they wish but limit each area to a maximum of 34% raise from default levels or a min of 10% for those the users choose to add too. I like this idea. Let each soldier have something on their head, both hands, their feet, chest, legs, and utility belt items, and give them something to get around with. Make each one by themselves worth a certain amount, but when fully dressed they become 'super soldiers' which have twice the stats of combined equipment. (or super spy, super sentry, etc)

I agree, sentry is our safe point on keeping our information as private as we can. I think someone might be able to find information if they have 10% spy to sentry ratio, and can damage things if they have 50% spy to sentry ratio. I also don't think Gold should be the stat that shows up automatically on a successful spy turn. Make that information random, just like the other results.

I think a nice modification would be that if your spy is at the appropriate ratio to see the targets gold then you would get what you normally do. If not, then you would need to have a successful spy report showing the gold within 1 minute of your attack. Other wise the best you can get from the attack is 50% of that targets gold.

I agree, it would be nice, for a commander to at least be able to take his officers into battle for a mass attack against a target. Every officer, including the commander would have damages, and soldier loss, but also split the gold gained. Each player can have a check box to "not participate in mass attacks' if they wish. The commander's attack log should then show the results of the battle.

I personally like this idea. At this point any percentage would work. Commanders still spend time with officers who can not click, I think commanders should benefit from this. I wonder if we could generate a pyramid type clicking. The first 100 clicks would get u 5 soldiers, the next would get you 4 etc, until after 500 clicks in 24 hours you would get only one solder. Go unlimited clicking. This would help boost all armies to have good gold, and allow those who really click hard to keep benefiting.

I agree with Feril. It's not just the cost of the repairs (Which are higher this age), it the fact that so many attack turns are generated. If I would have known about the specific changes, and the costs before the age started, I would have changed my playing style accordingly. Now I'm committed, and have changed what I can..LOL

Feril you pretty much say what our alliance has stated. Don't allow sabs until the successful ones are used. We like the idea of having 10 sab turns against a person TOTAL. However I differ on this. I would like to see sab turns back, and equal to attack turns, and u can use them how you like. Failed sabs do count as a sab turn. Oh ya make a min sab too. This will prevent "sab proof"

In our alliance so far we feel as a group 3 changes is fair, unless you are kicked by your commander, then you get up to two more opportunities. We also feel Changing commanders because your commander's account has gone idle should not count against you.

To make it so I am clear on my own thoughts. I think we should earn 12 attacks a day. Now we can bank those, and then use them any way we wish. However in fairness to those who work hard, versus someone who doesn't. I think the SA should be closer to the DA before you get defended vs. retreated. I personally think we should have sab turns. And one turn is used per sab attempt..and all ur spies go in at one time just like battle. Whether u successfuly sab or not, your spies die..and your tools get damaged. LIkewise the target loses sentries, and has tool damage. IF you have the turns u can use what u want when u want..make it comparable to attack turns tho! Make ratio more real tho!

But as stated before I believe something should be made so that all have to use without having to build another alliance up..so thus I am for an Official koC recruiter. Personally, I hate this idea. Granted, I dislike having to enter captcha every single time, but it's so easy to make automated scripts without captcha. If you get rid of captcha except for once in a while, at least make it so that once you get it, you have to enter a captcha before getting a non-captcha page. UP can be done per turn. The other stuff, really can be dealth with either on a per turn basis (which it is) or a 24 hour period. The time scale don't matter to me, but a per turn basis would be more beneficial to many other players.

I am all for less attack turns, kind of. I think that if you attack somene your spy should be able to see their gold. If you can't see their gold, then you need to spy. I think if the ads were removed from the unique ID pages it would allow for more clicking. This in turn would be more spending, attacking etc. Ad's on the recruit pages actually hurts the game more than it helps it. Get the speed back for clicking, and get your rewards later when people spend their gold, or attack for gold, or train their armies. Let us grow..collect your money later.

Interesting concept but would need other tweeks to make it work. For example for training you can only train 25% of your soldiers into any ONE category. You would also need to implement this with spies. Of course once you did this with spies, you should allow for spie deaths also. IE is the only browser that I know of that takes you back, and puts you back where you were in the attack page. The others move you to the top of the last page you were at. Just use the back button like Dissenter said.

I don't think there should be a limit on how many times a day you can attack a target. If you have the turns you should be able to attack whoever / whenever. If you have the attacks saved up, you should be able to use them where you want. I don't like the limits of attackng xxxxx so many times a day. Yes, I've been burned, and will probably be burned again with this...but I still feel that if you have attack turns, you should be able to use them as you please. With the smallers UPS yes, make them affordable so that new players can start the game, and have some gold somehow. I personally would like unlimited UPS and the cost grows exponentially. I'm not positive on this, but personally if you are banned or suspended, there is probably a reason for it...but yes, I do feel there should be a way to log into your account and fight the ban and suspension. I got banned from GUA several times, and never knew why, and had no recourses until the ban wa lifted. A person should be able to log into a banned account for direct communications only!

nah..there's gotta be some manual labor in the game. Some people give up after the first failed attempt for whatever reason they quit....I think this should be done without automation. However, I do think that instead of having 100's of spy reports on someone, that each time you spy, the new stats get updated wth a time stamp of last update. That way only one report is saved.

Here's a new idea...if you are "online" your DA and Sentry stats increase by 25% Because in all reality you are online and prepared....the offline stats will remain 'normal' because you could be sleeping, eating, celebrating etc..and not be expecting any thing. I think if your SA is larger than someones DA then you should be able to take their gold!!!! You may have a lot of casualties (many many many many more), but you can get the gold. I don't think the amount of gold you take should be determined on TFF but on whether you succeed (make the random effect from that point) Casualtis on the other hand is different. Having the alliance page in KoC is a nice addition, and for it's first age has served its function. But the owners do need to have a bit more control. Like making other "leaders" who can do admin functions, kick people who don't belong. Even post a message that dont scroll off the page, that the allaince can see, but surfers cant....just a beginning of this thought.

Why go backwards? As a player who would benefit from "OLD RULES", I say keep KoC moving forwards. I think a new twist every age is exciting and keeps me around. When you say "old rules" you say alot. Let KoC evolve, and grow. There will be ages that have sucky things,...but over all there are improvements. Adapt to changes, and you will be ok. It's harder, but it keeps things fresh.

Actually, MCM-neverdies had a great program that I think should be incorporated into the game. It would be nice to have this system where u could track your chain, or just track certain individules. I actually don't want to go back. They are bringing chaos into the game. Yes, the chaos can be quite painful, but some of the stuff the admins have done, I like. It benefits smaller players, and will knock down larger players who are not ready. However, there are still loopholes that need tweeked to prevent players who create an account just for chaos, then delete it. just tweek the new game.

Not sure there is a need for auto fill. However, some games do post the "maximum" you can buy with the gold you have, but don't fill it in. This may not be a bad idea to do. I am not really for either. If you can't figure out what to buy, then maybe you can't figure a strategy. Calculators are cheap, and there is one located for free in windows...that's a good start.

If your name is on the battlefield you are open to getting attacked, sabbed, spied etc. If this were changed, then I would never click, woudlnt buy UPs, and only attack for gold......or I would click forever, and just stay awake and online for 24 hours straight and do whatever I pleased, then spend my gold. Not a good idea in my opinion.

I think the problem here is determining "what is a smaller account" Maybe instead make it so that a minimum of 1 item can be sabbed (if you are successful). Make the sab ratio of .5 spy needed to successfully sab. Get rid of the ability to sab stuff already sabbed. My spies should be smarter than that..that's why I trained them.

Yes, you will be safe from sabs. But if you at war, then the stronger players can sab you down to a lower level, where more members can sab you. I agree it's painful when this happens, but I feel this option should stay availalbe as a possible recourse of actions. If Sentry was not sabbable, then that would be just another area strong players could focus on, or bank with.

I would also like to add, that I've made comments that UPS help commanders growth too. I think a commanders growth is important, and if he has an officer who can not click, but will dedicate his UPS to help his commander this should be included. Those players who can't click: Land Line : Crappy PC's : Some Mac users: Parental Software issues: I think UPS should go up chain too.

Darn, I just tried creating the idea that we get a bonus from the UPS. There are many officers who can not click, and their commander does a lot of work for them. I think they should benefit from their officers UPS. I would be happy with a 2:1, but think even a 10:1 would be acceptable at this point. I didn't realize you had to have votes left to create an idea, so I can't create it.

caprox I like that idea!. However, let clicking count a bit more than that. At first it probably won't matter, but if the UPs are raised to 5K a day then it can hurt. I say for every five clicks you do ONE UP dissapears. This should not count when others click your link, or you grow from officers being clicked by you or somoene else. If UPS become turn base, the I say scrap this idea.

An official recruiter would be nice, because it would bring every one on the same level playing field of what is offered, without giving one person the benefit of helping themsevles via their own recruiter. However, I will state, that having alliances have their own recruiter if they develop one is not something I am against. I would be happier if we had an official recruiter.

I think if we had a 'war mode' this concept is great. You can combine your entire set of officers stats with what you have (immediate officers only). Of course if you attack in war mode, then the targets will automatically go into war mode defense or something, and combine their officers stats etc. (damage goes to all involved,)

as viv said, it would be nice to see older posts, but I would like to add, that would like to ban players from the alliance link. The concept is pretty good and allows players who don't like forums to participate, but is weakly protected against spies. I also propse that the owner can assign some admins that have similiar abilities to the owner.

I agree, there is no reason to lose tools on sab / spy attempts (which I know it's on sab attempts only now). However, maybe spying could cause a small amount of damage, and sabbing could cause a bit more damage. I mean the tools are getting used, so give them a bit of damage. The same thing should happen on the target, whether a successful spy / sab or an unsuccessful one was completed.

I agree, if we see they are online from the battle page, we should be able to see this same stat from the attack pages, spy pages, and battle report pages. This should be common knowledge on all pages, if it's offered on the battle pages.

I think stealing would be great if the undead was replaced with Theif. Make it so the theif steals insteads of sabbing. That is probably not possible with the type of coding made for this game....but still a thought LOL.

I think five is a fair value for this. It allows for rewards, making new alliances, and players finding a way to replace crappy commanders. Any more than this gets abused.

I think showing the online status has its advantages. I would like to keep it. However, if it went away that would bring more chaos, but strategically, it offers some good possibilities.

I agree, there should be some timeline when the age will end. Whether, it is an exact time, or an approximate time (plus or minus a couple weeks). Either way there should be some expectations. Even if it was posted that ALL ages from now on will last between 5-7 Months, that would be an example of what we can prepare for. Nothing has to be definate, just a good approximation.

I dissagree, I thnk sabbing tools has it's advantages. However, if other parts of the game are tweeked, it will bring the sabbing of tools more into line. I think any thing sabbed, should be removed from armory immediatly, from all 4 categories. This will even the odds, and remove some "untouchables", and will bring on new strategies.

I'm sorry, but if some one chooses not to get officers, or join an alliance, that is their choice. For those who choose to do this, they should benefit from it. If not we would have mainly solo players. Alliances are what make KoC. I do feel 1:2 clickback ratio for commander is acceptable. I also feel that commanders should get 1:2 of the UPS. If you choose to play solo, fine...work harder.

I agree, 12 attacks a day is plenty. I also think 96 spy attempts is plenty (and have sentry actually protect u from spying). I think 24 sab attempts a day are plenty. Just bring the success ratios a bit more into reality, but keep some randomness. I feel if you save up your turns, you can use them any way you wish! No limits against any particular target. Bank unlimited turns

I believe UP is a necessary evil. We have many players who are on land line, or just have crappy PC's, or just dont want to click. I think buying UPS should remain an option. I also belive UPS should come at every turn, and not just once a day. So when u buy ups you buy 1 soldier a turn, 2 soldiers a turn etc. Keep them affordable. Make a max of 75 soldiers per turn.

I agree with unlimited clicking. The user should be logged into their KoC account. I also agree that we should be encouraged to click other links than our own. So I say we can click our own link once every five minutes. This will support alliance members, but does however limit solo players somewhat. I don't have an idea how to help them with this.
